Cory Doctorow Shares portions of book

I think this is an interesting view of the future of books. Cory Doctorow first released this book free online. It then went on to be nominated for one of the forest of reading titles, now he is allowing portions of the book to be downloaded and remixed. Also developing wordle cover art....have a look.

I think the .pdf entire version of "Little Brother" has always been free. http://craphound.com/littlebrother/download/

I purchased the DRM free unabridged audio version for $20.00 from Zipidee here http://tinyurl.com/lea343

The future of book publishing?

I think it is definitely the future of publishing. We are in an age of change. Look at what Napster did to the music industry. With the advent of digital readers like the Kindle and the Sony reader, it's only a matter of time before the market shifts.

Diehards like me though will always buy the book for pleasure reading...it's part of the experience. That being said I was ogling the Kindle this summer in NYC and considering how much lighter my luggage would be without hauling my personal library!
